Polls Don’t Lie, Except When They Do: McCain Wins Primary, Obama Doesn’t Lose!

A groundbreaking new national poll (just released, so this is sort of like an exclusive… except, um, not.) from the Washington Post and ABC News, Sen. McCain (R-Who Cares?) leads Govs. Huckabee (R-Heaven) and Romney (Gay-Xenu) by 8 points and President of 9/11 Guiliani by 9. Hey, that’s the first part of 9/11! I guess the real question for us all is if Guiliani loses Michigan by 9 and Florida by 11, isn’t that sort of a victory for 9/11s all across this great nation? Think about it…

According to the WaPo, even though Obama still loses to Clinton by, um, 5 points, he’s no longer losing. See why/be confused to death after the jump!

Ok, so I really just lied about the confusing part for the laughs (hey, I got a laugh out of it at least). Balz and Co. explain that the closeness of the two past primaries has narrowed the race and brought Obama back into it nationally. It’s this kind of a analysis that I really love, because apparently the pollsters at WaPo didn’t know that the winner of Iowa always becomes a national figure after. Anyway, the poll has some good news for Kucinich, as apparently he’s still alive at 2%.
