Lots of folks out there in Tacoma land are worried about the finance giant Russell Investment Group pulling up their tent stakes and moving to some city more accommodating to their corporate tax evasion fantasia.

    I’m unfamiliar with the situation. Is having Russell in Tacoma really that bad? They do employ 1100 workers. It would be fairly disastrous if they left. Plus, the plan for a new downtown would create a new financial service district, possibly attracting more big business to our area.
