I Destroyed the most Fertile (local) Farmland in the World and all I got was this Lousy Office Park!
by NineInchNachos
new political cartoon from RR Anderson!
what can we do to stop it? Julie Anderson of the Tacoma City Council responds..
- Transfer development rights (TDRs)…Tacoma has volunteered to be a receiving site.
- Creating lucrative, dependable markets for local, organic foods…support the formation of the Pierce county food policy council (working on farm preservation and sustainable principles).
….so….lots of people working on it, but we need massive scale support for local produce / goods. We’re not there.

Perhaps this is something that the Tacoma Food Co-op would be interested in sponsoring/
Nice cartoon RR, and thanks for bringing this issue to The Melon.

That’s ridiculous. Hopefully the Volcano doesn’t blow their top.
I typed AFF in google and came up with Adult Friend Finder and Arab Film Festival.
I can therefore only conclude that the attempted removal of this family farm is a ploy to produce adult films.
