As part of an ongoing series to entertain and inform, I’ll be bringing you a gorgeous selection of videos from our creative films department, Melon Visual.
This week Melon Visual is proud to present the scariest movie ever…ever. Whoop Ass: Can of the Dead!!!! Filmed in 2006 by an intrepid young group of Chicagoland filmmakers, including the likes of Electric Elliot, Jordan Gzesh and Adam Slutsky, Whoop Ass follows two friends on a quest to find a holy can of whoop ass in order to stop a zombie uprising. Starring Elliot Trotter, Ben Pollack and Mike Gerberding, the films’ run-time is 00:45:50.

First, why aren’t you blonde anymore? haha!
Second, that Zombie Dance scene is awesome!

@Jen Drake, man, those were the glory days. Ha. The blond actually ran out before we finished filming, so for a good deal of the movie I had to spray my hair with this crappy gold stuff.
That zombie dance seen has become pretty popular on youtube http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OLnHv1fSHio. We got around 30 people to dress up as zombies and dance.

@Electric Elliot: I did notice that somewhere in the film your hair became more natural.
And while I am impressed on the one hand by the number of hits you’ve received for my favorite dance scene (113,445), I can believe it. Cause it’s just that cool! Genius, Elliot, genius.
