Hill Watch: Hill Committed After Second Arrest

The News Tribune is reporting that Robert Hill has been involuntarily committed to the Puget Sound mental health hospital Thursday night, after an arrest for inappropriate possession of a fake training gun in the County-City building of Tacoma Olympia. It is reported that Hill pointed the training gun at a guard when passing through security. Hill denies that he pointed his replica at the guard.
The rabbit hole goes deeper when on Wednesday afternoon, Hill passed through security again in Tacoma Olympia, followed by a friend of Hill’s who possessed a real gun registered in the name of Hill’s mother. Hill again denies knowledge of the gun or his colleagues possession of it. Hill was later arrested Thursday morning and committed after a mental health review.
KIRO TV has footage of Hill getting arrested over the replica gun here as well as an in jail interview in which Hill gives his perspective of this week’s events here and the supposed threats against Pierce County Sheriff Pastor Paul.
The Melon attempted to contact Hill, but encountered only his Nextel answering service. More on the Watch as it becomes available.

Question: Given that Robert Hill has personally annoyed many among all branches of local government and law enforcement for years now, to what extent is his involuntary check-in to the hospital reflective of his actual danger to himself/others, and to what extent is it law enforcement officials getting rid of him for their own convenience?

It sounds like Ed Troyer broke Federal Privacy Laws and should be incarcerated himself.

I’m confused, the article claims this happened in Olympia. I am unaware of a county-city building in Olympia.

1.What Mr. Hill should do is to seriously consider filing a civil lawsuit against the Pierce County Sheriffs Dept. for violating his Federal Privacy rights and possibly consider filing a complaint with internal affairs (PCSD) against Ed Troyer for broadcasting this embarrassing information.The time for filing a civil lawsuit is short with a limited number of years that one can do so without the statute of limitations expiring (not sure but it might only be 3 years).So he should contact an attorney A.S.A.P. once he is released.BTW I am not an attorney but this is what I think that he should do.
2.If Mr. Hill is involuntarily committed to a mental institution once released and found to have a mental disability that limits his gainful employment, he could or should apply for GAU (General Assistance Unemployable (To apply for MONEY)) at a local Washington State DSHS (Department of Social and Health Services) office (It’s the same place as when one applies for food stamps).If he gets GAU and later on GAX (General Assistance Extended) he will be able to apply for Social Security Disability and if found to have a disability that makes him unemployable he might receive an award in which he gets Social Security Disability payments as long as the individual remains disabled.Individuals can get disability awards for many reasons (Paralysis,Blindness,Bad Backs,Insanity,Retardation,Missing Limbs,Gross genetic deformation etc.).He might not want to go this route especially if he has large financial means but it is available.
Considering how bad the economy is going lately with numerous people being layed off of work and small businesses,huge corporations and financial institutions being shut down left and right getting a Gov. Gravy Train Social Security check might not be such a bad idea right now.

That’s a lot of information, I wouldn’t be at all surprised if Hill were interested in what you had to say in your first paragraph. As for his financial straights, I’d like to know how he’s doing on Magical Gold Coins, I bet he spent alot of that during his campaign.

I think that Gomez Addams with the approval of Uncle Fester and Morticia helped Mr. Hill with Spanish Doubloons (32-reales gold coins) and seeing Mr. Hills worthy candidacy and campaign why not?
He (Gomez) has helped other worthy people with political campaigns like Mr. Hilliard in the past.
