You know Buzzards and Stadium Video? Of course you do. Well the manager of both, Marty Campbell, is running for City Council. It seems Marty lives double lives, one managing these businesses and one as a dedicated community member serving on numerous boards including the Tacoma Neighborhood Council, Downtown Merchants Group and the Grand Cinema board.

He himself has been involved in Tacoma for fifty years.  In this time he has watched Tacoma turn from a violent meth capitol of the US to a bustling arts scene.  Currently on the board for the Tacoma Historical Society and the curator of the current exhibit, Tom is a former Tacoma City Councilman.  Recently he sat down with us to talk about Tacoma history and in doing so revealed some dark secrets…well sort of.
